After completion of our Defensive Driving Program, there are a few steps you must complete to recieve a dismissal:

To achieve a Dismissal of your case, you MUST carefully follow the Instructions below for paying court cost.

1. Order of Dismissal - You MUST wait until you have received an Order of Dismissal from the Court, before you pay court cost. The Order of Dismissal will be mailed to the address listed on your traffic citation, unless you have notified the Clerk’s Office of an address change on this particular case.

2. Paying before Order of Dismissal = Guilty Plea. If you pay your court cost before the Order of Dismissal is entered, this is deemed a plea of GUILTY. This guilty plea will be the final disposition for your case, regardless of whether you completed our defensive driving course.

3. Paying Online = Guilty Plea DO NOT pay your court cost using the online website printed on your traffic ticket. Paying online is a GUILTY plea and will be the final disposition for your case.

4. Paying by telephone = Guilty Plea - Paying using the 866 prefix telephone number printed on your traffic ticket is a Guilty plea.
